Top: Brillat – Saverin Cheese: This is a triple cream dessert brie that is luscious, creamy and faintly sour. It pairs well with Champagne and is quite salty when ripe. This cheese that was created by the French cheese-maker Henri Androuët in the 1930s. It is named after 19th century gastronome and epicure, Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin.
2. Cashel Blue : Cashel Blue is the original Irish farmhouse cow’s milk blue cheese. Cashel Blue is a unique creation of Jane and Louis Grubb. Developed at a time when softer blue cheeses were a rarity in the English speaking world, Cashel Blue truly set the trend as an alternative to the traditional and stronger Blue Stilton.
3. Le Delice de Bourgogne 2kg : A French classic triple crème cheese made by Fromagerie Lincet. A cow’s milk cheese from the Burgundy region of France.
4. Blue Daffinois : A soft cheese from France that is made with pasteurized cow’s milk. The interior cheese paste is butter yellow with specks of gray-blue. The exterior rind is white and light tan. This cheese is soft, sticky and spreadable with a finger. It has a texture and consistency similar to buttercream icing.
